Sometimes on newer bathtubs, showers, and sinks there is damage such as a chip or crack only in a small area. We can repair porcelain, fiberglass, or acrylic.

How To Fix Cracked Fiberglass

We first repair the damage. Chips and cracks are filled and patched. The damaged area is then sanded sooth to make the repair area flush with the original surface. We then find a colored resin of our coatings that comes as close to the color of the bathtub or shower as possible. The resin is then mixed with catalyst and applied over the repaired area using an airbrush.

They can occur in any form of fiberglass, including cars, boats and swimming pools. Small cracks form in the outer surface of the fiberglass, spreading out from a central point like a spiderweb. These cracks do not affect the structural integrity of the fiberglass, but are an aesthetic issue. Fortunately, spider cracks are not difficult to repair. Damage to a fiberglass tub can be extra difficult to fix since cracks and chips can run deep. More importantly, fixing the damage isn’t a simple matter of painting over the blemish. Without sealing or binding the remaining surface together again, the harm will persist and moisture damage is likely to become worse later on.

We may not be able to make the repair completely invisible. However, our goal is to make the repair such that, it would take someone several minutes to find the repair if they were told to look for it, and didn't know where the damage had been. How To Fix A Crack In A Fiberglass Sink

The Inlay will strengthen the original tub or shower surface to withstand even the toughest conditions!

Fusion is a process unique to our Inlay adhesion. Other adhesives and glues are limited in their ability to hold under stress and constant pressure. Plus very few are resistant to water! Our Inlay system is permanently bonded to the original surface by a chemical process that actually melts the two substrates together which enables the two materials to become one. The Inlay is computer designed and custom fit to each unit. All Inlays can be resurfaced along with any tub or shower and sprayed to match your decor or existing unit.

Guarantee

Yes. Inlays come with a lifetime guarantee against cracking or delaminating from your bathtub or shower.
